A small bathroom does not have to mean compromises. On the contrary – compact spaces are the ultimate test of a well-designed interior. In this project, we show how to create an elegant, functional, and cohesive interior design within just 3m2, combining modern design with timeless aesthetics. This space was created with the goal of maximizing every inch, without giving up the “wow” effect.

Space analysis – 3m2 that required a precise design
The designed bathroom has only 3m2, which means that every centimeter had to be planned very consciously. In such spaces, it is crucial not only to arrange the equipment properly, but also to ensure ergonomics and visually enlarge the interior.
Our goal was to create a space that is at the same time:
- highly functional,
- visually light,
- elegant and timeless,
- adapted to everyday use.
Already at the concept stage, we knew that a standard shower cabin would not be the best solution – that is why we chose a curved form, which allows for more communication space.
Design concept – minimalism, light and elegance
The entire interior design is based on a combination of light surfaces, natural textures, and gold details. At the center of the project is a curved shower cabin, which not only saves space but also introduces a softer, more organic line into the interior.
Behind the cabin, we designed a wall with a decorative herringbone tile layout, enhanced with linear LED lighting. This solution serves both as a decorative element and a way to visually enlarge the space.
On one side, there is a minimalist countertop basin with a compact cabinet, and next to it – a wall-mounted toilet, which additionally “lightens” the interior visually.

Functional zones – a well-thought-out layout in 3m2
Despite the small size, the interior has been divided into clear functional zones:
- bathing zone – curved shower with LED lighting,
- washbasin zone – a compact cabinet with a basin and mirror,
- sanitary zone – wall-mounted toilet with a concealed frame,
- storage zone – niches and shelves with lighting.
This layout allows comfortable use of the bathroom without the feeling of tightness.
Material details – marble, wood and gold
In this project, we focused on combining three key materials:
- marble-look tiles – give the interior elegance and a timeless character,
- wood texture – warms up the space and introduces a natural accent,
- gold details – emphasize the luxurious character of the arrangement.
The entire composition is complemented by LED lighting, which not only creates atmosphere but also affects the perception of proportions.
Interior color scheme – a light base and warm accents
The dominant role is played by light, creamy and beige tones, which visually enlarge the space. They are complemented by warm wood and gold elements, giving the interior elegance while maintaining a cozy feel.
