Designing a youth bedroom is always a balance between functionality, aesthetics and the personality of its user. In this project, we focused on creating a modern, well-organized and expressive interior arrangement that responds to everyday needs – studying, resting, developing passions and relaxing.
The 13.2 m2 room was designed as a coherent yet intentional space, with a clear division into functional zones, a strong visual accent in the form of a football-themed wallpaper, and modern LED lighting that gives the interior a youthful character.

Room analysis
The designed room has an area of 13.2 m2, a regular shape and access to natural daylight thanks to a large window. The main design objectives included:
- creating an ergonomic study area,
- providing a comfortable space for sleep and rest,
- planning storage for books, decorations and equipment,
- introducing elements that highlight the user’s sporting interests,
- maintaining an aesthetic that will not become outdated as tastes change.
The limited floor area required every element of the interior to serve a specific function while remaining consistent with the overall interior concept.
Interior concept and key design elements
Desk by the window – ergonomics and natural daylight
The study zone was planned directly next to the window. A long worktop ensures comfortable use, while access to daylight positively affects concentration and well-being. The minimalist desk design helps maintain visual order and keeps the space from feeling overwhelming.
Football wallpaper as a strong visual accent
One of the main decorative elements is the football-themed wallpaper, which gives the room character and clearly reflects the user’s interests. The black-and-white graphic keeps the wallpaper expressive without dominating the entire interior.
Upholstered bed and shelves above the headboard
The sleeping area was designed to feel cozy and organized. A light-colored upholstered bed provides comfort, while the shelves above the headboard serve both practical and decorative purposes – perfect for books, keepsakes and accessories.
LED neon and lighting
The LED neon on the wall adds a modern, youthful atmosphere and functions as a subtle decorative lighting accent. It is complemented by ceiling spotlights and zone lighting that allow the mood of the room to be adjusted to different activities.
Multimedia zone with TV
The TV was discreetly integrated into the built-in furniture without overpowering the space. This solution maintains a balance between entertainment and the calm, functional character of the interior.
Interior color palette
The color scheme is based on light beiges, white and natural wood, accented with black details and the graphic wallpaper. This combination makes the interior feel bright and visually spacious, modern yet timeless, and easy to adapt with accessories.
The neutral palette creates a solid base that allows for future changes without the need for major renovation.
Design team insights
While designing this room, we wanted the interior arrangement to remain flexible. The sporty theme is present, but not overwhelming – allowing the space to grow and evolve with its user.
