At Fabryka Projektów we work every day on spaces that not only look good, but also set a high standard of everyday comfort. This 30-square-metre living area arrangement is an example of how, thanks to well-thought-out proportions, a refined colour palette and consistent material decisions, you can create a bright, elegant and functional interior while maintaining a modern character.

## Introduction

In this project we focused on a combination of beiges, wood, black accents and soft, diffused light. The interior is harmonious and cosy, yet refined in details such as fluting, LED lighting, contrasts and well-balanced asymmetry.

## Room analysis

The living area includes three key functions:

- living room,

- U-shaped kitchen,

- dining area with a round table.

Despite the relatively small size (30m2), the space is clear, well lit and—most importantly—visually cohesive, while at the same time properly organised in terms of function.

The biggest advantage of the interior is the wide glazing, which opens the space to the greenery outside and allows natural light to be used as part of the scenography. For this reason, we used a concealed curtain rail with LED, beige curtains and delicate sheers to enhance the effect of soft, diffused light.

## Description of each element of the interior

## 1. U-shaped kitchen

The kitchen design combines functionality and visual lightness.

## Materials:

- Matte cashmere MDF fronts – elegant, calm, without gloss; they give the kitchen subtlety.

- Wood-effect furniture board fronts – they warm up the design and introduce a natural touch.

- Wood-effect postforming worktop – durable and visually consistent with the rest of the cabinetry.

- Matelac on the wall between the cabinets – a modern effect, a semi-transparent pane resembling toned matte glass.

The kitchen area is closed off by a bar without stools, which serves an organising role: it separates the kitchen from the dining area, increases the worktop space and improves ergonomics.

## Kitchen lighting:

- Under-cabinet LED – for functional task lighting.

- LED above the cabinets – decorative, creating a floating cabinets effect.

- Magnetic track lighting – a modern, flexible form of main lighting.

The built-in units contain black appliances:

- Samsung freestanding fridge,

- oven and microwave in a tall unit – forming an elegant, cohesive module.

## 2. Dining area – round table and comfortable chairs

The dining area is the heart of the interior—an element that perfectly connects the kitchen and lounge zones.

## Key solutions:

- Round table with fluted base – sculptural, designer, eye-catching.

- Beige chairs on black frames – visually light, comfortable, elegant.

- Expressive abstract artwork on the wall – introduces dynamism and art into the interior.

The close proximity of large windows means the dining area is naturally lit, which emphasises the soft light passing through the beige curtains and sheers.

Glass pendant lamps with black accents highlight the modern character of the whole area.

## 3. Living room – a space for relaxation and elegance

The living room is based on the harmony of beige tones, fluting and delicate geometry.

## Key elements:

- Beige sofa with soft, textured fabric.

- Grey-beige rug that ties the whole space together and adds visual softness.

- Fluted coffee tables in black and wood – a subtle accent that echoes the motif of the dining area.

## TV wall:

This is a highly refined design element.

It consists of:

- plasterboard panels finished with concrete effect,

- vertical slats,

- LED backlighting,

- long TV cabinet made of MDF in a cashmere colour,

- anthracite display cabinet with internal LED lighting.

The combination of concrete, slats and glass gives the TV wall a modern, luxurious structure. It is one of the most distinctive areas of the project.

## Material and colour details

The interior colour scheme is based on:

- stain-resistant beige paint on the walls,

- natural wood,

- matte black finishes,

- cashmere matte surfaces,

- glass and LED lighting as decorative elements.

All materials come together to create a cohesive, warm and luxurious whole with a distinct modern accent.

## Functional zones

The design distinguishes three fully independent zones:

## 1. Cooking zone

Highly ergonomic thanks to the U-shaped layout, good organisation and task lighting.

## 2. Dining zone

The round table allows for better communication and optimal use of space.

## 3. Lounge zone

The sofa positioned opposite the TV wall creates the perfect place to relax and watch together.

Additionally, thanks to the concealed curtain rail with LED and the large amount of light, the interior appears larger, higher and more harmonious.

## Layered lighting

One of the foundations of the design is multi-level lighting:

- under-cabinet LEDs – functionality

- LEDs above the cabinets – decoration

- LEDs in the display cabinet – highlighting details

- LEDs in the curtain rail – creating atmosphere

- glass pendant lamps – main light above the table and bar

- magnetic track lighting – dynamics and the ability to adjust the direction of light

The result is an interior with a varied atmosphere, suited to different everyday scenarios.

## Designer’s comment

“In this project we wanted to make full use of natural light and give the interior elegance through cohesive colours and textures. Cashmere, beige and wood create an exceptionally harmonious backdrop, while black details add a contemporary character. The biggest challenge was to combine all functions within 30 m2 so that the space remained open without losing clarity. We achieved this through consistent work with proportions, light and carefully refined details.”

## Summary

This 30-square-metre living area project proves that a well-planned space can be beautiful, functional and timeless at the same time. Responsible use of light, a natural colour palette, consistent use of black accents and attention to detail make the interior elegant, bright and comfortable.
