Can a 6 m² bathroom accommodate a bathtub, a shower, a large vanity unit and a comfortable WC area while still maintaining a spacious and elegant look? The design prepared for Natalia and Paweł from Grodzisk Mazowiecki shows that a carefully planned layout can combine all these functions even within a relatively small space.

For this project, we chose a warm and timeless colour palette, combining light surfaces inspired by natural stone with dark wood and elegant gold accents. The entire interior is complemented by carefully planned LED lighting.

The result is a modern 6 m² bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower, combining functionality, elegance and a cosy atmosphere.

## 6 m² bathroom – how to fit both a bathtub and a shower?

One of the main goals of the project was to create two separate bathing areas. The bathroom therefore includes both a comfortable bathtub and a spacious shower.

The bathtub was positioned under the window. This made it possible to make good use of one of the main walls while leaving enough space for the remaining bathroom fixtures.

On the opposite side, a shower enclosure with transparent glass panels was designed. The minimalist glazing does not visually close off the interior and helps maintain a sense of spaciousness.

Gold profiles and shower fittings coordinate with the other elements used throughout the bathroom.

This solution means the homeowners do not have to choose between a quick shower and the option of enjoying a relaxing bath.

## A bathtub under the window as the focal point of the bathroom

The bathtub is one of the most distinctive elements of the entire interior. Its simple, modern form works beautifully against the calm backdrop of large, light-coloured surfaces.

A long illuminated niche for toiletries was created on the wall behind the bathtub. It is not only a decorative feature but, above all, a practical storage space for products used during bathing.

Minimalist fittings in a warm gold finish were mounted directly on the wall.

The window is complemented by dark wooden blinds, which provide privacy while also highlighting the combination of light stone and natural wood used throughout the design.

## Beige bathroom with wood – a timeless combination

The design is based on a calm and harmonious colour palette. Light surfaces inspired by natural stone provide a neutral background for the stronger wooden elements.

The wall in the WC area, finished in dark wood, is particularly striking. The wooden cabinetry extends almost from floor to ceiling, creating a uniform surface and giving the interior a more elegant character.

The combination of beige, warm wood, white and gold keeps the interior modern without making it feel cold or sterile.

It is a colour scheme that can remain attractive and timeless for many years.

## Wooden WC wall as a strong design feature

The WC area was designed not only with functionality in mind but also as an important decorative element.

The wall-hung toilet was positioned against tall cabinetry with a wood-grain finish. As a result, an element that would normally remain visually neutral has become part of a carefully considered composition.

Thin dark lines divide the large cabinetry surfaces and give them a more contemporary character. The composition is completed by a gold flush plate and matching accessories.

This is a good example of how one wall in a small bathroom can be used to create an impressive focal point without introducing too many decorative elements.

## Large vanity unit and an eye-catching stone countertop

The bathroom also features a spacious vanity area.

A wall-mounted vanity unit with dark wood fronts provides storage for cosmetics and all the everyday items that are best kept out of sight.

Its light, floating form keeps more of the floor visible, which also helps make the interior appear larger.

The countertop with its distinctive stone pattern immediately draws attention. Warm beige and brown tones combined with contrasting veining make it one of the most decorative elements in the entire design.

The white washbasin is integrated into the countertop, while the wall-mounted gold tap helps keep the surface clean and uncluttered.

## A large illuminated mirror visually enlarges the bathroom

Above the washbasin is a large mirror with a rounded, asymmetrical shape.

Integrated lighting creates an attractive line of light while also providing additional illumination for the vanity area.

The large mirror surface reflects the opposite side of the room, making the 6 m² bathroom appear larger and more spacious.

This is particularly important in smaller interiors, where a carefully selected mirror can significantly influence the perception of the entire space.

## Gold bathroom fittings – an elegant detail throughout the design

Gold-toned elements have been used consistently throughout the project.

They appear around the bathtub, washbasin, shower, handles and other bathroom details.

Repeating the same finish creates a cohesive look. Gold does not dominate the interior, however. Instead, it acts as an elegant accent against the light surfaces and warm wood, maintaining a sophisticated yet calm character.

## LED lighting creates the atmosphere

Lighting plays a major role in a small bathroom. For this reason, the main lighting is complemented by several decorative light sources.

LED lighting has been incorporated in several areas, including:

- the long niche above the bathtub,

- the ceiling area,

- around the mirror,

- the shower area.

The lighting highlights the textures of the materials and makes it possible to change the atmosphere of the bathroom in the evening, when strong main lighting is not required.

As a result, the bathroom is not only a functional space but can also become a place for relaxation.

## A small bathroom can look luxurious

The bathroom design for Natalia and Paweł shows that 6 m² is enough space to create a very comfortable interior.

The key is careful planning of the layout and bathroom fixtures.

Within a single bathroom, we managed to combine a bathtub, a separate shower, a WC, a large vanity area and plenty of storage. At the same time, the room does not feel overcrowded.

The key is to limit the number of materials, maintain a consistent colour palette and use large, uniform surfaces rather than many small decorative elements.

## Individual bathroom design – why is it worth planning before renovation?

The bathroom is one of the rooms where mistakes made during renovation can be particularly expensive.

Before work begins, it is therefore worth carefully planning not only the appearance of the interior but also the positioning of every fixture and piece of equipment.

A bathroom design allows you to check the position of the bathtub, shower, WC and washbasin in advance, as well as circulation space, the way individual elements open and the arrangement of finishing materials.

3D visualisations allow you to see the future interior before renovation begins and assess whether the selected colours and materials create the desired effect.

## FAQ – 6 m² bathroom design

## Can you fit both a bathtub and a shower in a 6 m² bathroom?

Yes. It all depends on the proportions of the room and the position of the doors, windows and plumbing connections. In the design for Natalia and Paweł, we were able to include both a bathtub and a separate shower while maintaining a comfortable vanity and WC area.

## How can you make a small bathroom look bigger?

Light-coloured surfaces, a large mirror, transparent shower glass, carefully planned lighting and a limited number of different materials can all help make a small bathroom appear more spacious.

## Does wood work well in a small bathroom?

Yes. Darker wood can create an attractive contrast with light-coloured walls. In a small interior, however, it is worth using it as a carefully controlled accent, as in this project on the WC wall and vanity unit.

## Do gold fittings work well in a beige bathroom?

Yes. Beige tones, warm wood and gold details create a very cohesive combination. Gold fittings can emphasise the elegant character of the bathroom without the need for a large number of decorative accessories.

## Can I order a bathroom design online?

Yes. At Fabryka Projektów, you can order an individual bathroom design entirely online. The design is prepared based on the room dimensions, photographs, technical information and your expectations for the future interior.

## Can I order a bathroom design from any city?

Yes. The entire collaboration takes place online, so we can prepare bathroom designs for clients from Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Warsaw, other cities in Poland and customers living abroad.

## 6 m² bathroom design – summary

The 6 m² bathroom design for Natalia and Paweł from Grodzisk Mazowiecki is an example of an interior where a relatively small space has been used very efficiently without compromising on an elegant appearance.

A bathtub under the window, a separate shower, extensive WC cabinetry, a wall-mounted vanity unit, an eye-catching stone countertop, an illuminated mirror and gold accents create a cohesive interior.

This project shows that even a **small bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower can be functional, comfortable and visually impressive**.

If you are planning your own bathroom and would like to see it in realistic visualisations before renovation begins, order an individual design from Fabryka Projektów.
