In this project, we worked on the **interior design of Liliana’s room (11 years old) with an area of 17.6m2**, creating an interior that is cozy, calm, and functional, yet universal enough to “grow” together with its young owner. The main assumption was an interior in **subdued, warm colors – beiges and browns**, with natural materials, plenty of light, and a clear division into functional zones. The interior features **light wooden flooring**, which became a natural base for the entire design concept. The ceiling is not suspended – according to the assumptions, it remains in its original form, while subtle **LED lighting hidden in ceiling moldings** provides soft, diffused light. The existing electrical layout was preserved – the placement of sockets and switches made it possible to design the built-in furniture without interfering with the installation, which was an important requirement for the investors. This solution brings the learning and storage areas together in one place, without visual clutter. ## Functional zones In this project, we clearly separated several zones that correspond to Liliana’s daily activities: ## Relaxation zone This area, with the bed and soft textiles, was designed as a place for relaxation, reading, and unwinding after a busy day. ## Study zone A desk with a comfortable chair, appropriate lighting, and an inspiration board creates comfortable conditions for studying and developing interests. ## Storage zone The custom-built furniture provides space for clothes, books, toys, and school supplies, helping to keep the room tidy. ## Circulation zone A well-thought-out furniture layout allows for free movement within the room, without a feeling of clutter. ## Material details In this project, we focused on **natural materials and calm textures**. Light wood, smooth furniture fronts, upholstered elements, and textiles with a subtle structure create an interior that feels warm and inviting. The built-in furniture was designed to be durable and functional – a solution that will work well both now and in the years to come. ## Interior color scheme The color palette is based on **beiges, light browns, and off-white**, which introduce calmness and harmony. These are timeless colors that support concentration and relaxation, while remaining easy to complement with accent colors in the future.
